Coffee diterpenes kahweol acetate and... - Advanced Prostate...
Coffee diterpenes kahweol acetate and cafestol synergistically inhibit the proliferation and migration of prostate cancer cells
I had my last about the same time. Out of all the cancers, this one seems the best. Tea, coffee, exercise, sunlight. For now I'm on SPT and that is great!
Yup! And I've had more cups today. Love me the brew.
SPT is awesome. It'll end someday but so will life. I might ride this to the end. QoL is more important to me than longevity.
Getting away this weekend to go hiking in the mountains.
Is the conclusion applicable to ALL coffee's??
I KNEW you were a billionaire! No, I wish. Going to Flagstaff Arizona.
Enjoy Flagg. 🌵✌️
Was there yesterday. Nice snow on the San Francisco peaks still. Beautiful time of year. Passed through Bryon in a snowstorm to Zion. Now in Bishop on way back to Bend Oregon
Got here tonight. The wife was bundled up. A t-shirt and shorts for me and my sons. A great change from Phoenix. My brother lives in Seattle. Oregon and Washington are my favorite places to vacation.
👍👍👍Glad your family could take the excursion. Hiking in Bryce was extraordinary in the cool sunshine too.
Great, sounds good. I will just keep on drinking what I have been. Drink 3 cups daily and I always thought about stopping the third one after lunch, but heck, I just might add a fourth one now.
Do you have any idea of the quanyity/doseage of Rosemary that you need to get the anti-cancer effects of kahweol and cafestol?Coffee is not an option for me since I cannot stand its taste.
Having a lot of rosemary growing outside, I do enjoy eating the flowers and chewing on a sprig now and then. Just because I like it.
I’ve heard that rosemary is anti skin cancer . I like it on fish or chicken .
I’ll have a double espresso please! 😎✌️
Still here.
Hmmm. I do have a basal cell carcinoma but since I started the fisetin it has almost vanished. Magic stuff. A sprig a day keeps the doctors away.
Thanks. The next time we go to Prescott I'll ping him.
I'm always a little wary of the purely ex-vivo ("petri-dish cell line studies") as so many do not pan out into in-vivo (animal models), much less to human disease. But study of these mechanisms is the starting place for much research. Most interesting, therefore, was the last line of this abstract:
"The xenograft study showed that oral administration of kahweol acetate and cafestol significantly inhibited tumor growth."
I'll raise a cup of joe to that today and everyday.
Agreed. I'm not a mouse and I'm not a petri dish. There is a fair amount of population research about coffee. I like coffee. Might not help but probably doesn't hurt.
I found it interesting that the main source of antioxidants for the average American is coffee. That alone might explain it.
Not being able to stand the taste of coffee, I found capsules of green coffee extract that each contain 7000 mg. The manufacturer says kahweol acetate and cafestol are indeed ingredients, but unfortunately does not have and will not analyse the quantities involved. It would be a shot in the dark to take it.....
