Treatment options and cancer staging by Mark Scholz

Here is a brief but I found interesting article about identifying you cancer stage and treatment. Using the staging and treatment guidelines I would be "basic indigo" and SRT to pelvic lymph nodes and bed, and at least 6-12 months ADT would be recommended. I mentioned this to two likely experienced (25years) and accomplished RO's and they both had exact same reluctance about radiating pelvic lymph nodes with treatment (i wonder if there are cost or insurance issues etc involved with their reluctance). I recall a recent post re MSK recommending lymph node treatment based on likely risk of micro metastasis to lymph nodes without any evidence yet, similar to basic indigo scenario. This is a short article and doesn't include most current trial info/approvals etc, but members may be able to relate their past and future treatment options to it. Basically, FYI. verywellhealth.com/the-stag... If this link is not helpful I originally did a search on "basic indigo treatment options for prostate cancer" Best of luck, Jim
