PSA 0.03, testosterone 36.0 ng/dL: these are my current (March 2021)lab results after prostate removed late 2015, radiation in 2018, and 2 years Eligard.
Have oncology appt March 15, 2021. What am I likely to hear about these lab results? 70 yo male is good health otherwise.

So after your prostate was removed in 2015 how were your psa readings? Did they start going up thus you had radiation in 2018? Then what was your psa? I had prostate removed in 2016 and had some pca in one lymph node in pelvic area so they put me on casodex and trelstar and my psa became undetectable. Went off of the adt and after two years went from .
<.006 to now .053 so I am back on adt. My dr probably should have done radiation but they said the lymph node shrank and no need to radiate. So I’m waiting for next psa to see if it’s dropping into undetectable land again. I hear I can do srt later. Anyway I’ll wait to see your response. Thx
Mikes21. In fall 2018, psa was 1.46 (it had always been rising since surgery). This immediately prompted 40 radiation sessions over 8 weeks, and Eligard 45mg. every 6 months. Last December they added 1000 units each vitamin D and calcium. Believe this Monday's appt. will introduce prolia and xtandi, don't know if they'll keep me on Eligard, Vit. D, and calcium.
PSA had been running at undetectable since after radiation, until now. I'm anxious to what they'll say about this week's psa of 0.03.
Allen, I feel great, probably because of every-other-day walk plus resistance training since Aug. 1, 2020. Maybe I just overreact to test results when they're posted. Should learn to calm down, I guess.
0.03 is great... Mine creeping up and got call today ( Sunday) from my MO. Never good to get Sunday call. He said tests were in and scans showed nothing new, just uptake in 2 old spots. PSA climbing... semi fast.. 0.00, 0.07, 0.08, 0.12, 0.11, 0.15 in the last six mo.. Wants new stronger scans to see if old spots are starting to flair and could be irradiated. I said I would wait to see what scheduled March blood test showed and reassess. Right? Wrong? time will tell.
Since it is now mid-March, i would not worry about up to a couple weeks of further assessment to make you more comfortable. HOWEVER the numbers are trending higher. So get ready to take the next steps your MO has recommended.
