Has anyone been in touch with Dr. Myers or heard how he is doing lately?

Dr. Snuffy Myers
Here’s his daughter youtu.be/A5p_G6HhW30
thanks
I am pretty certain that's really his daughter.
He handed all that over to her when he retired as a result of parkinson's.
He and I shared an informal interest in quantum physics and he is on a mailing list on that subject. He used respond and interact from time to time.
He went radio silent after he retired. And it was a subject he had an intense personal interest in. Even more than prostate cancer. I think his original degree was in physics.
He even had some research he wanted to do when he retired. If had started started on it, I'm pretty certain I would know.
I also am a physics junkie, from the quantum to the cosmological. Very interesting new results out this week reported in Quanta Magazine (free online). This discloses much more about the mass and the inner nature of the proton. Fascinating!quantamagazine.org/protons-...
I so much hope he's doing really well. He saved lgs life at least 3 times by telephone call and faxing him Scan reports where the other local doctors didn't have a clue. Always my best wishes to him❤
I loved my trips down to see him. Just chatting with him relieved my stress. And the local wine scene was picking up nicely. I have not been down to Charlottesville since he retired. Once Covid is behind us I need an excuse to head down there.
Yep. When I went down for my last visit just before he shut down, I told my wife unfortunately will not see Charlottesville again for a good while. We always had such a great road trip from Ohio when I had my appointment. It was all part of the package that people are describing in a multi-dimensional way in this string.
I hope he’s doing well also. His treatment protocol was way ahead of the curve. His understanding of what it was like to live with prostate cancer and the treatments used for it made him an even better doctor. I am still on the same treatment regimen he prescribed for my Stage 4 PCa 7 years ago and still doing well. He saved my life.

Been a while since I last heard from him. I too am still on the same protocol he set me on just before he retired. I feel I owe my life to his amazing skill, knowledge, and kindness. Wishing him the best. Feel a bit lost without his guidance.
