I hope you called you dr and are on your way to the emergency room?
Yes I have experienced intermittent bleeding. I am currently undergoing Taxal chemo and have bilateral nephrostomy tubes to drain my kidneys due to lymph node enlargement which has blocked my uters. Based on observations a 7 days of antibiotics seems to clear up the bleeding. It may occur approximately every three or four months.
Any pain and/or burning sensation? Peeing blood was my initial indicator of having PCa, in just a fews days after an Eligard injection, my burning sensation from peeing blood subsided.
The scans showed a tumor extending from the prostate gland, invaded the bladder wall.
No pain no discolored urine besides the blood. Hoping that it is some kind of anomaly
Unfortunately that happened to me, I has a soft-tissue PC tumor growing near my penis and bladder. I had to get a scope - that showed intrusions where you don’t want them ... then switched to chemo and radiation to knock everything back.
For me, I think it was from hemorrhoids, after having gone through radiation and resulting constipation. After 3 consecutive times of peeing much blood during the night I was ready to go to emergency but it was clear on the 4th.
I have a small amount of blood when I pee . I'm on the same regiment as you . Then about a week ago I couldn't pee and was up all night until must have been a kidney stone . Never had one before and don't want another . About 3 am that night everything broke loose and the foul smelling odor was overwhelming . I make sure I drink plenty of water now . tried to get a appointment to get a cystoscope from my VA urologist . so I have one March 1st but that said no we cant do a scope he is just going to talk to you .I told them I had a scope done with the pious urologist about 12 years ago . he said it was radiation scaring from radiation to the prostate bed I had in 07 . I'm still peeing a small amount of blood on occasion . Ive had many ct scans with contract so some other veteran said his kidneys are messed up because that contrast doesn't filter right and causes him to pee blood . So I will let you know when I get some answers .
I was into my 6 month of ADT vacation, feeling great, and then out of nowhere with no other symptoms I started having blood in urine. It increased to the point where I was passing blood and tissue. A couple of cystoscopes later and I was having a biopsy to confirm. Surgeon also removed the cancerous tumor or whatever it was, during biopsy from bladder. This was followed up by a scan and 33 rounds of radiation. Been about 9 months since that all occurred and all seems ok at present (except each time I take a leak, I'm afraid to look thinking it might return).
Ron..... a clue..... You never want to take a leak.... you want to leave it.......

Some of these treatments cause calcium to increase in the blood which then precipitates in the kidneys onto stones and/or onto heart valves. Either way causes dangerous blockages. My husband had both.
What other treatments did you have? Did you have any kind of radiation treatments at all?
When my PSA started climbing and between the 1st and 2nd test to determine PSA stability or DT, out of nowhere I had blood in my urine! Was a shocker to say the least! After multiple calls to my GP and RO at the time, all I was told was drink lots of fluids and see what happens. I was like WTF? Really ...? Lasted about a week, some urine looking like coke-cola (dark red). Did a blood test and still nothing showed up. It subsided prior to all my scans post 2nd PSA showing DT <3 months... Rest of story is out there, but nothing associated with possibly causing the bloody urine. Biggest thing I could think of was possible dehydration (severe).
Anyways, just thought to share, hope you work it all out and it's nothing.
Best Regards!
I had pelvic radiation in 2002 and about a year later after getting out of bed went to pee and it was blood instead of urine. Long story short it was lesions in my bladder caused by the radiation. I still have it off and on if I eat spicy food.
Seeing blood in the bowl, separates the men from the boys.......
