It’s been a number of months since posting, but I feel with the close of this year it’s once again time to remain hopeful that 2021 brings us some major breakthroughs!
I started 2020 doing 8 rounds of taxatere which I finished in April. I responded well but after 7 rounds PSA started to climb again. After trying Xtandi with the chemo PSA still was climbing with a doubling time of 2 months. Now as I finish this year I’m back in chemo with Jevtana and so far results are excellent (I.e. PSA 29 at start and 11.4 after 3 rounds). So even with all the treatment failures I believe there is still hope for many us.

Best of luck in 2021. I got lucky..xtandi after #5 and it worked for me. (9 cycles). Xtandi still holding things in check. Watching to see how new chemo works for you. I will probably need it one day.

Praying for all of us. I'm on Xtandi and Lupron shot at the moment. Had 10 days of radiation in June 2020. PSA went from 21 to 3.5 in August. Now Jan 2021 has crept up to 10.2. I believe in my heart there will be a breakthrough for us all. I'm a christian man with great faith. What we're going through keeps us close with God. Keep your faith.

Huge increase in psa
PSA falling, Prostate Cancer increasing. Very Confused.
Docetaxel/Taxotere. 2nd time in 3 years. It's a no go this time. No benefit after 3 infusions.
