PT-112 study

Ok, after many standard of care options (Lupron, docetaxel, Xtanti, Xofigo) and 2 clinical trials, this one looks like a good next step. My PSA has ballooned up to 175, but I am stills mostly asymtomatic with Mets in 4 bones. University of Colorado Health center, Dr Elaine Lam, is holding a trial that has interest to me.

I can’t seem to paste here, but maybe you folks can look it up. More later, late on a Sunday

Tom

It sounds like a new kind of immunotherapy:

Any thoughts on its prospects?

Dunno - they are definitely right that T cell infiltration is one of the big immunotherapy stumbling blocks that make prostate cancer so cold to immunotherapy - but will it be enough? Only way to find out is to run a clinical trial.

Actually it is a type of chemotherapy similar to carboplaten

Are you sure? I thought that from the name of the company - but their video says otherwise.

Thanks John, I am hoping that it is a step in the right direction. My PSA has been rising since February!

I saw that your psa is rising.... now lets pray that "the therapy" knocks it down so you can stop worrying about it. I did read that you're getting a foggy memory the same way that I am. Hopefully the therapy will get you off the meds... and clear up the foggy memory. Sometimes I struggle for several minutes to remember common everyday words. Difficult to hold a proper conversation with someone. Take care and I will keep you in my prayers. I do love humor but I also have a serious side.....The only good thing about Pca is that I met a lot on nice people here on H U....

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
