Smoked cigars, drank whiskey, butter pecan ice cream, soup, and chased widows. I plan on doing the same thing...just threw out my Gator Blood and Xtandi and bought a box of cigars and a quart of whiskey and butter pecan ice cream.

Nal,

they reported that a man that looked like a rat stole Overton's money ….I was just looking at your pic...where did you get the money for your Florida fishing trip

Wonder whether he ate a lot of steaks, ribs, pork chops, lamb cutlets as well ??

As for exercise, I am sure he sat on his ass and smoked cigars and drank whiskey.

However, his faith in God took him to 112 years :-)

He chased widows, that's exercise. :-)

Yep, that's good exercise indeed. The old man knew what he wanted and what he was doing. A lesson for most of us :-) Cheers, tom67inMA !!!

I wish to propose a toast to: Mr. Richard Overton, America's oldest World War II veteran and the oldest man in the United States, who died on January 10, 2019 at the age of 112.

THIS IS TO ALL THE KISSES I'VE SNATCHED AND VICE VERSA.

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Glad to see the wonderful humor! Thanks,

j-o-h-n, I love it! I am turning 81 in 2 days. Had rad prostatectomy in 1998. Had numerous radiation treatments to bed area but too late. Had subsequent treatments to a few vertebra. Went thru casodex, zytiga, xtandi treatments plus lupron ra 6 mos. What is left out there. I believe my chemo doc is about to send me to pasture.

Good luck j-o-h-n & keep the good humor flowing.

To John Viar.

Well a premature Happy Birthday to you. 81 years young and born in 1938 (pre-WWII). They don't make them like you anymore. Well I don't think you're going out to pasture - not yet. You're a bull and will be around for at least another 10 years. God Bless you and eat an extra piece of birthday cake for me.

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Thanks for birthday greetings.FYI, I had not heard the "kisses I've snatched" little prize in some time so I was rolling in the floor.

This old cancer keeps me hopping these days. I am so fortunate to have a wife in relatively good health to keep me pointed correctly.

May all of the terrific people on this forum be granted a miracle of good health free of this scourge of U NO WHAT.
