I thought it was being biopsied?

He went to the oncologist today he is doing a body scan and a neck scan and go from there. I hope he gets a biopsy on it and a med change

Hey Manohar11!

The best imaging and biopsy today is a real time, in bore biopsy using a mp 3.0T MRI. I hope this will be the type of biopsy your husband has. Imaging is so important.

There are studies regarding psa having no indicator as to how the treatment is going and whether or not testosterone inhibition has any direct effect.. there seems to still be a lot of unknowns

My husband's PSA dropped from 126 to 2 in less than six months. We were excited until his doctor explained that some tumors produce very little PSA.

But your husband's already produced a 126 so his isn't one of them.

That's what I was thinking but his doctor seemed to think differently.
