My husband’s Psa has gone up each round of chemo. He just had his third round three weeks ago and is due for his fourth tomorrow. His PSA has gone out about six or seven points each round however his third round it went up three points. His alk is down 6 points from last check. Should I be concerned the PSA continues to rise or could this still be a flare?

They said after 4 th cycle they will do scans! Do you think I should be concerned about the PSA?

It seems that everything can be a concern . I’ve yet to do the chemo. But I’ve seen others PSA flare. I really think you must see after chemo is done what happens. Telling someone not to worry, is stupid. We worry for his life. Stay strong keep the faith and love him much . Get him through this . Peace🙏🇺🇸❤️

I am doing chemo now and my oncologist said that my PSA would go up before it comes down.

Did they happen to mention how long it would take to come down? How many cycles?. We’re going on his fourth cycle.
