I have not missed a single day in last 12 months when I did not eat a cruciferous vegetable. Thyroid tests are totally fine. No side effects at all.

This study showed that 60mg daily of sulforaphane had a great effect. So, what's the best way to get 60mg a day? Most of the supplements don't even contain sulforaphane in them. Probably 75mg of it in a 4oz package of broccoli sprouts.

Eating cruciferous vegetables (Cabbage, Cauliflower, Brocolli, Radishes) every day and taking 2 or 3 caps of Sulforaphane capsules can possibly fulfill requirement.

do any quality companies make a pill that gets close to 60mg's a day? I don't think so. I wish. I think the other technique is to eat 2 oz of broccoli sprouts per day minimum.

This doctor is amazing. I’ve followed her for years on Twitter. She posts some great stuff. Be careful George. An overdose of broccoli won’t be pretty 😂

I take among other things the Life Extension Cruciferous Vegetable -- it has 400mg Broccoli (seed and plant) -- I3C 80mg -- Watercress 50 mg -- Rosemary 50 mg -- Cabbage extract leaf 25 mg etc. As she noted in the video chewing raw broccoli releases the more potent compound

It is too late for me to watch this tonight, but I will tomorrow. I have seen other things, which is why I started growing broccoli sprouts in Feb 2019, a couple of months after diagnosis. I keep 3 ball jars in rotation, and it is a rare day that don't eat a cup of fresh 3-4 day old sprouts. I have gone through a little over 6 pounds of seeds in that time. As "medicine" you can't beat the cost, and I feel like I benefit from the ritual of rinsing, washing, caring for, and preparing my own healing food. I have taken Broccomax too, but there is something about ingesting a living food i have raised. Looks like I am starting to float away... Better say good night. Best to all.

can you share your recipe for the sprouts? Is there a link to it on youtube etc?

Hi George, just seeing this. I don't have a recipe. I just watched several videos, got some mason jars and sprouting lids, and ordered some seeds. It took a little time to get a rhythm, remembering to rinse the seeds, and figuring out when best to eat them. I tried a few sources and found I like these the best. Good luck! trueleafmarket.com/products...

Thanks for the info. I just bought some a few days ago - Foods to Live brand and they are in the kitchen now after two days. Waiting to see how they do. I have a paper towel above them also. I hope that helps. I'll let you know how it goes.

Good luck! Among many ways to eat them, I think my favorite is as a substitute for pasta with a good spaghetti sauce.

No risk and no maximal safe does of cruciferous veggies. It is perhaps the only thing! Provecho!
