Any comments on this following aspect of the trial?

Relugolix 120 mg orally once daily...

... vs...

leuprolide acetate depot suspension, 22.5 mg -- OR -- 11.25 mg in Japan and Taiwan, based on local labels.

Why the inclusion of men (one third of the total) receiving what amounts to half a dose? Why not compare to a group 100% of whom are receiving standard dose of 22.5 mg?

maybe one is a 3 month dose and the other is a 6 months dose ?? just guessing -- don't know anything about ADT.

It looks like the subcutaneous dose is 22.5 mg and the IM dose is 11.25 mg.

thanks - apparently it takes less to do the same thing depending on whether it is subcut. vs IM ? if I understand you

in reply toGeorge71

Looks that way from the prescribing info. I wasn't aware of that until I looked at.

Apparently acts quicker and effects leave the system faster than Lupron. Possible future if BAT is ever needed.

I believe it is more rapid and sustains the castration levels....and when it is stopped T comes back quicker!!!
