Botox for Urinary issues post RP

I am nearly 16 months post RP, April 1st 2019. Started salvage radiation January 2020, 38 treatments with a six month run of ADT. I still have urgency and occasional leakage. I wear one thin pad a day usually and a depends at night. I have stopped even bothering with Kegels as I really haven't noticed any difference at this late juncture. Luckily I normally am able to sleep through the night without awaking. Sometimes it is like a leaky faucet an just drips, drips, drips. I do have marked urgency occasionally. Some days I can barely make my hour commute to work. I do keep a urinal in the car and have had to use it a few times. Other times I am fine.

My urologist has suggested I receive botox injections into my bladder to assist with the urgency and intermittent leakage. I take Ditropan two tabs at night and Mybetriq, one tab in the morning.

I was just wondering if it helped and would you do it again? How uncomfortable was it? I know it isn't a long term solutions and you may have to have more than one injection. How many injections have you had?

Thanks so much!

In studies done in women it was effective but some patients needed transient self catheterization.
