Prof. Andrea Alimonti and team looked at more than 9000 patients with confirmed COVID-19 infection in Veneto, Italy; they also used data on all cancer patients in the region for comparison. Among all prostate cancer patients, only 4 out of 5,273 men on ADT developed COVID-19 infection. None of the men died. Among 37,161 men with prostate cancer who were not receiving ADT, 114 developed COVID-19 and 18 died.

Only 4 getting the virus out of 5,273 is good, no deaths out of 4 who got the disease does not tell us much about the death rate as the sample is too small.

It's a big enough sample to tell me it reduces contracting and dying, especially when there is a scientific explanation for it in the article. . 4.2 to 1 ratio compared to non adt. Everyone is allowed to draw their own conclusions. With melatonin, d3 and adt and warm southern weather, in going to start enjoying life. Charleston county SC has had 8 deaths since the wuhan virus hit. That's statistically close to zero. Staying inside, sitting and watching tv and Facebook lowers immunity ala New York. Over 5000 dead in New York nursing homes thanks to cuomo policy. I don't need anymore data points to see what's happening.

While these results may be good enough for you and the explanation suggests a mechanism of action, STATISTICALLY there is a relatively high likely-hood that these results could have spontaneously occurred ..... this does not mean ADT can not reduce the death rate of those who get COVID-19 it just means there is no direct convincing proof on a statistical basis because a number of 44 subjects is too small. It appears ADT reduces infection rates and that alone is likely to reduce population death rates but there is not statistical convincing evidence to show that once one has COVID-19 the death rate is reduced .... a sampling of 4 is too small. Personally, my GUESS is that ADT will reduce the death rate once one has COVID-19 just like it appears to reduce the likely-hood of contracting COVID-19 (at least with studies so far) but I do not yet think there is statistical evidence for ADT reducing the death rate once one has COVID-19 yet .... at least that I know of.

Understand. I don't always have time for million man studies, so the statistics in this study after convincing for me. Doesn't make any difference in my treatment plans anyway.
