Had initial appointment with new RO to talk about cyberknife suggested by T-tall. He said they no longer do cyberknife, but start with uro a fun then mri and then high frequency radiation to specific mapped areas. He spoke as if this was better than cyberknife.

They are now suggesting rather than SBRT an RT like what was part of the ORIOLE study at Hopkins.

I'm sorry- I don't understand your situation. ORIOLE was a study of SBRT for oligometastases only (not prostate) for men who were recurrent after prostatectomy. Is that your situation?

Yes, like what was done with the ORIOLE trail at Hopkins. This is my first venture into RT and I’m trying to make the right decision. I’ve also heard of RT which may have remission or curative out come. Thanks appreciate your knowledge and help.
