Since PD manifests itself mainly when one come to attention, and many of us on ADT don't do that anymore, our PD is effectively cured. Westof, if I understand you right, you are fortunate to maintain desire and (with a little help) capability while on ADT. But I suspect you are in a minority. Cheers!
I posted a while ago about my peyronies disease. The standard medical treatment -- xiaflex, put me in the ER for retention six weeks after the injections. After reading Patrick O'Shea's post about iodoral (an iodine supplement) seeming to help his duputren's symptoms I decided to try it out for peyronies which I had dealt with for more than a year. I know that xiaflex is used to treat both conditions. About six weeks after taking 12.5 mg iodoral (I actually took only a half tablet a day) my peyronies problem was gone. If anything ADT probably contributed to my development of peyronies.

Believe or not...My head hairs grew thick and my bald spot on top of head is not visible anymore. One good side effect of Lupron ? or of ton of antioxidant/anti inflammatory stuff I am taking ?
The Lupron suppressed testosterone and with low levels of testosterone you also have low levels of dihydrotestosterone, the hormone that promotes baldness. My bald spot also decreased. And I also don’t stink when I sweat which is also caused by the DHT! Cheers, Phil
Me too! Except the hair that grew back is very fine and of a dark color, as opposed to the gray on either side of my head. It sorta looks like a field of burnt corn stubble.
I’m able to concentrate better since I don’t check out every woman’s rear end everywhere I go! 😀

Peyronie's (pay-roe-NEEZ) disease is a noncancerous condition resulting from fibrous scar tissue that develops on the penis and causes curved, painful erections. Penises vary in shape and size, and having a curved erection isn't necessarily a cause for concern.

You become much less likely to repeat many of the stupid horn-dog behaviors and ill-advised decisions that may have actually or potentially complicated your life during the prior 40-50 years while you were a slave to your testosterone for 24 hours each day. This could range from teenage lusts to adult sexual adventures or misadventures of all kinds to other extremes that may be seriously legally sanctioned.

Once I went on Lupron-for-life I also became aware of how much less my body was smelling like an old billy goat much of the time! Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha.
It is only recently that i learned being horny is a function of both T and E. Now , ADT gets rid of both... but a little bit of E helps keep bone mass, without (the other bone) being too horny.

The thing they don't usually tell you about losing your balls (whether chemically or physically) is that you lose E as a result of losing T. Turns out, a little bit of E is very useful!

I was put on Abiraterone early last year. I guess this stuff targets the adrenal gland? Anyway, I was up in my deer stand last December and a nice 6-pointer came and gave me a broadside shot at about 50 yards, and the weirdest thing happened...no buck fever, no rapid pulse, nothing. Ideal scenario, right?
I still missed by a mile, though. So I went back to deer camp and cried about it LOL
The other problem is that now I tend to roll out bed in the AM!!! Came to rely on that morning wood for a kick-stand!!
