I just found this, maybe you know about since it is a study from 2016.
Sorry, Nalakrats, I just found this article and wanted to share it with you. I saw that you can buy it on internet , leaves or pills...
Thank you, Nal, to help us with your outstanding intelligence!🙂
This is just another useless (for you) lab study.
They talk about consumption- not about in vitro trials...
They do mention oral intake, but the only reference they give is to this lab study:

I'd wait for the published study - press releases are often hype.
There are thousands of studies and trials on the way. We all will have died before they will be ready to publish their results . Some scientists use already neem with success because it is known since a long time in India :

Maybe it is worth to try it? What can you loose? A lot of chemotherapies don't work for many people and have many sideeffects. So, why not try this inoffensive plantextract?
I found more recent and more detailed informations about the healing effects of the extract of neem leaves :
hindawi.com/journals/ecam/2...
It is about bladder cancer but they mention also many other cancers where nimbolide is successfully used.
If one is interested would you take Neem leaf supplements?
I have read the study before. In Ayurveda, they use it for many ailments. I have a neem tree in my backyard and was eating 7 leaves a day first thing in morning. For last 3 months, the leaves have fallen down so I had to stop. In a month new leaves will come and I will resume my 7 fresh leaves a day routine.
Does anyone have access to the full article for this:

Taxotere and its cousin Cabazitaxal are derived from Chinese Yew tree. Seems to work well for many, not everyone. Many severe side effects for some but continues to be prescribed and submitted to. Is a multi-million(billion?) dollar seller.
We don't know the dosage of neem that can help treating PCa. There are more than 100 types of herbs that can fight PCa. I used Neem capsules last year 1000 mg capsules (500 mg X 2) daily for 3 months. May be it is better to use the leaves?
What are the side effects of neem?
These serious side effects include vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness, blood disorders, seizures, loss of consciousness, coma, brain disorders, and death. Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Neem oil and neem bark are LIKELY UNSAFE when taken by mouth during pregnancy. They can cause a miscarriage.
That's the question...
I wonder if olive tree leaves work? Don't have any neem trees.
Need more info about NEEM...see older thread " NEEM..ancient indian remedy"
My concern is the bioethics of new drugs and treatments for PC . Are there definitive and effective treatments (either used for another disease or already discovered plants) that are paid little attention by drug manufacturers because they cannot be patented with limited profit potential? I get more information reading Nalakrats, Tall Allen and other contributors to this web site then I am informed by my own medical team.

I've been taking this intermittently for the last year and a half. I'm not sure if it has done anything at all but I'm taking it just in case.
No noticeable side effects for me.
Typical unsubstantiated hocus pocus

they explain that's not easy to make the extracted stuff of neem leaves Nimbolide absorbable for fighting cancers:
You must have heard about the medicinal benefits of neem and how it is used in Ayurvedic concoctions to treat a wide variety of health problems naturally. But most recently, scientists from Hyderabad made a startling discovery about this herb. They showed how neem can be used as a weapon against cancer. The revealed that a phytochemical obtained from this herb, namely Nimbolide, can be helpful for curing cancer. This compound has been deemed effective for a number of cancers. However, researchers for long have neglected the use of Nimbolide in commercial drugs for cancer. Recent discovery shows that oral use of this compound may not be quite effective for cancer because that way, the body fails to absorb Nimbolide properly. This has become a major hurdle in the manufacturing process of Nimbolide-based drugs. Experts at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research have successfully cleared this dilemma and paved way for the use of neem in cancer treatment. The compound was tested for throat, pancreas and prostate cancers and the results revealed a high success rate for them all.
Thus we should know exactly what compound the experts used to treat cancers. And this will maybe explain that some pills or extracts of neem leaves or oils you can buy don't work?

WHAT IS NEEM?
Neem is a tree. The bark, leaves, and seeds are used to make medicine. Less frequently, the root, flower, and fruit are also used.
Neem leaf is used for leprosy, eye disorders, bloody nose, intestinal worms, stomach upset, loss of appetite, skin ulcers, diseases of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease), fever, diabetes, gum disease (gingivitis), and liver problems. The leaf is also used for birth control and to cause abortions.
The bark is used for malaria, stomach and intestinal ulcers, skin diseases, pain, and fever.
The flower is used for reducing bile, controlling phlegm, and treating intestinal worms.
The fruit is used for hemorrhoids, intestinal worms, urinary tract disorders, bloody nose, phlegm, eye disorders, diabetes, wounds, and leprosy.
Neem twigs are used for cough, asthma, hemorrhoids, intestinal worms, low sperm levels, urinary disorders, and diabetes. People in the tropics sometimes chew neem twigs instead of using toothbrushes, but this can cause illness; neem twigs are often contaminated with fungi within 2 weeks of harvest and should be avoided.
The seed and seed oil are used for leprosy and intestinal worms. They are also used for birth control and to cause abortions.
The stem, root bark, and fruit are used as a tonic and astringent.
Some people apply neem directly to the skin to treat head lice, skin diseases, wounds, and skin ulcers; as a mosquito repellent; and as a skin softener.
Inside the vagina, neem is used for birth control.
Neem is also used as an insecticide.
BUT IS IT EFFECTIVE AGAINST THE CORONAVIRUS???
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
