Hello guys

My dad still fighting and after 4 chemo therapies liver got a bit better that allowing him to eat at least breakfast and lunch ( having nausea going on and off and not much appetite). Due to met in the bladder got another blockage the last week and now has a catheter on, on Sunday we could see a long clot coming out from the catheter that was scary. Do we need to think that chemo is not helping and bladder tumor still bleeding ? his urologist appointment is this coming Thursday and may ask him to do some scans and see what is the size now. His PSA still in 300's and decreasing very slow, dr says he needs 3 more chemo. Does anyone knows that this is really aggressive cancer that after 4 chemo the PSA still high ? at this point. do we need to have better results or need to start looking for different treatment ?

Attached is the link with his biopsy report and excel file with some info for ASL, AST and PSA.

The link didn't work.

I suggest you immediately begin investigating other therapies in clinical trials. I forgot whether his cancer is PSMA-avid? Was there a genomic analysis of a recent metastasis?

Please, click it again. The link has 2 documents and u may be able to see it. This Biopsy was taken from the sample that the hospital got at day 1 when we realize about his PC. Sample was taken in the bladder.

Thanks - it worked!. That seems like a very thorough genomic analysis, but as usually happens, there is nothing there that is useful. You might ask them to do an IHC analysis of the bladder sample to see if it is PSMA avid.

Yes. Go to google and search :

'Online second opinion'

You will find many USA cites with radiologists reading results of ct, biopsy and pet

You have to create online account in their cite and the upload the image CD which you should ask ur hospital to give you

The fee for reading is modest ranging from $190

Hope that you select one

I use docpanel

Good luck
