Xtandi and Antibiotics

Has anyone experienced a drug interaction between Xtandi and Antibiotics?

Good question for the experts. I am on xtandi and had to take cipro for a few days to prevent infections from a biopsy. My PSA did rise slightly.

I was ok with amoxicillin and Xtandi. Had an issue with cipro a long time ago (before Xtandi). Another antibiotic they gave me many years ago made me very paranoid. I was allergic to it.

Hi, whatsinaname. Started 8 cycles chemo, lupron and xgeva March 2017. Started Xtandi August 2017. So, 2 years and 8 months total. Psa yesterday was 0.1. Blood work ok except for mild anemia. July scans showed extensive mets stable, no new mets. On the other hand, some of my other body parts are coming into question. I am 69 and a half. I believe you are about 5 years younger? My quack's initial time frame prognosis has been proven to be wrong. I am fatalistic and eat and drink what I want. I do not recommend my lifestyle to anyone, especially to those who are much younger. I do so hope you can find a quack that can turn things around for you. My very best wishes to you Carlos. Monte
