I had a prostrate Biopsy 6 days ago, no blood in urine, no blood in poo, but I have very dark blood in my semen, is that normal?
Biopsy: I had a prostrate Biopsy 6 days... - Advanced Prostate...
Biopsy
I don't know how common it is, but I had blood in the semen for almost a month. I don't think it is a cause for concern. I avoided intercourse until it cleared, but did my best to clear the system. LOL

Some info:
mayoclinic.org/tests-proced....
"Blood in your semen. It's common to notice red or rust coloring in your semen after a prostate biopsy. This indicates blood, and it's not a cause for concern. Blood in your semen may persist for a few weeks after the biopsy."
Yes, everyone who gets a biopsy gets that. For me, it lasted about 3-4 weeks. Blood went from bright red, to brown, to beige and then faded. Your doctor should have told you to expect that.
Before you start drinking rustoleum... I would suggest you listen to our esteem members and give it some time to flush out naturally....And for heaven's sake man don't try to rake it out....

In a word, "yes."
Yes, after a biopsy you will have blood in your semen. Nothing unusual.
I don’t recall at this point wether it was during the biopsy or when they installed the markers for RT, but I passed a hunk of meat with my first urination after the procedure. Almost got stuck... had to push like a mother!! Called the Dr ASAP and they couldn’t have given two shits!! So I guess they can do some collateral damage in there, without worries!!!
