My brave Daddy finally is at peace. His body ravaged by the cancer, reduced to a mere shadow of himself, he’s now free. He passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. I will miss him so much. Love you papa.

My father passed on 23 years ago and there isn’t a day that I’m not thinking about him . The presence of Our loved ones ( especially a beloved father) or mother stay with us in mind and spirit . Now you carry his torch .. Make him proud and enjoy life . Peace

I do not know if you and your family practice Hinduism, but may the oldest son set the funeral pyre, and may you all find Peace in the Passing of Papa.

Thank you for the poem. It’s beautiful. Yes we practice Hinduism. However as he had no sons, it was his 3 daughters who lit the funeral pyre. Papa would have it no other way.
