Prostate cancer : Hello everyone wanted... - Advanced Prostate...
Prostate cancer
New medication is Nubeqa (darolutamide):
"A prescription medicine used to treat men with prostate cancer that has not spread to other parts of the body and no longer responds to a medical or surgical treatment that lowers testosterone, such as androgen deprivation therapy (ADT)."
Several new meds have recently been approved for different situations. I assume he is metastatic and hormone sensitive - right? In that case, the newest medication approved for that is Erleada. Other medications previously approved for that are Zytiga and Taxotere. You can read about treatments for men in this situation here:

I thought I read that daralutamide has some ability re dealing with AR mutations while apalutamide doesn’t . Assuming he has a choice , would daralutamide be more attractive?
If he is mHSPC, his only choices are Zytiga, Erleada, and Docetaxel. Xtandi will probably be approved soon. Nubiqa is only approved for non-metastatic CRPC.
