Hello - I had this procedure done earlier this week on my mets to my liver.

Has anyone else had this done and if so, were you pleased with its results in helping you?

Thanks...

Hi Ken,

I have 20+ liver lesions from PCa, but so far treatment has been multiple rounds of Docetaxel/Carboplatin chemo. Interested in your treatment, as have only heard of SIR-Spheres use against mets in liver, not any direct chemo. Thanks.

Best Wishes. Never Give In.

Mark - had my 1st shot of Docetaxel last week - MO had a plan of 1 hit every 2 weeks - saw him yesterday and now he says every 3 weeks, not 2. WB count was real low, but PSA was 0.66. He claims he saw some reading in the 300s but can't really tell me where he saw it - the highest I've seen it was 12.5. Not sure where he wants to see the PSA at and is that the only marker he is looking at. Only 2 months ago it looked pretty bad under the care of the so-called experts - they basically gave up on me..The turn around no matter how long it last, in my opinion, is incredible. He took labs yesterday and I'm very curious as to where my PSA will be after just that one shot of docetaxel. The 0.66 was before the chemo.. he s 45 plus years experience, is very optimistic with me that he can beat this monster down - I remain cautious but could not be in better hands... best to you mark - ken

Happy Halloween Ken,

Sounds like good treatment for you. My PSA has dropped from 48 to .2 with simultaneous chemo plus Xtandi. In middle of chemo cycles and will have liver MRI in 1 week.

Best Wishes. Never Give In.
