I would like to ask you if any of you are participating in a clinical trial with atorvastatin/placebo + standard treatment (casodex/bicalutamide or hormone therapy etc...)

Hi Patrick,

Thank you very much for the information. I am a participant in the study and a few days ago I received the capsules. Now I would like to know if it is a medicine or placebo. I would like to ask other participants of this study what color and taste the powder is (after opening the capsule). Then you can compare and guess who has the placebo. Any ideas?

You'll be thrown off the study when they find out. If you knew you were taking the placebo, you wouldn't get the benefit. LOL

Personally, I feel that there is a strong case to be made for taking a statin while on ADT.
