I take 4 tablets of Abiraterone at 10 PM. I finish dinner by 7.30 PM. So that gives a gap of 2.5 hours. I take Dexamethasone after breakfast and dinner.
I always get up around 3am. Time I use to wake for work. Take them go back to bed. I take 2- 500mg for a daily total of 1000mg a day. My other half is a nurse she wakes at 5am and I get up to make her coffee. My breakfast I take my Prednisone.
Didn't know that there was 2000mg taken in a day. 4 tablets for me were first given at 250mg each. Now the 2 at 500.
His Abiraterone Acetate is from Mylan (generic) and the dose is 4-250 mg pills per day--the same as you are taking. I think that first reply was a typo.
He is up all night peeing but it might be easier for him to take them at bedtime with no food.
When I started Zytiga (4x250mg per day), I was taking it in the evening before bedtime, but I was getting pretty severe leg cramps in my calves, and less so in thighs (while "sleeping"). Finally decided to take it first thing in the morning when I was active so I get the drug out of my system as soon as possible. No longer have any muscle cramps/spasms. I take it with my morning coffee....
I see you headed to Minnesota.... I am going there tomorrow for three weeks to see family.
