Does anyone know of a good to great MO in the Los Angeles area besides the three at Prostate Oncologists?

I really liked dr Drakaki at ucla. I use her for a second opinion on my treatment plan at Prostate Oncology specialists. She works closely with a dr kishan (radiologist) there. They were both incredibly knowledge and kind and patient with questions. Believe it or not they answered my emails late at night (I was careful not to take advantage of that largess). I know TA really like Kishan. I don’t think he knows Drakaki.

Thanks Schwah, UCLA my school, will consider Dr Drakaki but I will not push my luck with too many emails, specially late ones.

Are you a Bruin ? Drakaki is really sharp and on top of it. She agreed with everything Dr. Scholz was doing, with the exception of using both chemo and Zytega with my Lupron. She agreed it was logical, but without the clinical study backing up the results she could not recommend it and advised one or the other. She did however support my doing SBRT radiation to my three mets, despite no clinical study proof on that. In my opinion, being from a large institution, it makes it a little bit more difficult to go outside the box. If you don’t mind my asking, did you have issue with the guys at prostate oncology Specialist?
