I'm also curious if the generic version of zytiga work as effectively and cost less?

I was on a drug trial with abiraterone (generic Zytiga). It worked for me..
Lower doses can be used effectively but take it with food..Tricky to get the dose / food balanced to get the desired level of the drug in the bloodstream..There are formulas for figuring it out..Originally done to lower overall cost of treatment..
Quite a while ago I presented the Chicago study to my Doctor, fortunately, he had studied it already. He cautioned that we wait. About nine months ago at our usual 3 month meeting, he changed my dose from 1000 to 250 with a low fat, 300 call concurrent meal. So we devised a granola, soy milk and coffee meal that works fine. So far all test have indicated just as effective, lower cost and fewer side effects.
