Has anyone tried a product called Asea

I have heard some pretty powerful claims about this drink. It has something to do with changing the molecules in your body and actually improving/curing prostate cancer. Sounds to good to be true. And yet, I’m probably vulnerable enough to try anything.

can you provide details...what does it contain and where it is available etc? seems like it is just salt water..why regulatory agencies are allowing its sale? I will not try it.

I have not heard of it - so went to the site - as I am interested in anything pertaining to health. Many of the things I take also seem to help my husband.

For me - I would probably try this to see if I got a lift post workout or something along those lines but I am definitely skeptical of the language used on the site - such as claiming that a “‘medical anatomical physicist” has endorsed the product. I am not aware of such a title - or degree of study. Having worked in marketing my BS radar starts to go off. I have sat around many a conference room table listening to brilliant minds waste their talents making up words and concepts to sell something.

I totally get feeling like you have nothing to lose - we on this site have all been there.

And there are a lot of companies out there counting on just that!

That said, maybe it would help in some way - who knows - with the only damage being to your wallet.

Being a pilot I was once in a bar....hmmmmmm....anyway the lady sitting next to me once finding out that my friend and I were men who flew great silver wings informed us she was once in the Atomic Air Force......Our BS radar started smoking, we placed our transponder code to 7700. That reminds me of the time I watched a B-52 copilot go down in flames trying to make a pass at a very attractive young woman at a bar in the resort town of Pattaya Beach, Thailand during a break in the bombing of Hanoi & Hai Phong in late 1972. He puffed up and mentioned that he was a B-52 pilot, and she immediately responded to him, ...."I'm from EAST GERMANY, and right now I don't like most Americans, and I Especially don't like bomber pilots!" She obviously wanted nothing to do with what he was trying to sell.

The air went out of my sails as well. You see we fly aircraft way above the commercial boys and go to cool locations...Now here I am talking to a girl who was in the atomic Air Force....not sure what that is but you have to know an atomic plane must really get up there.

Man that's weird..... In my younger days I used to tell women that I was in the Atomic Air Force. And when they asked what that was? I invited them up to a room and I would show them "how Little Boy would turn in Fat Man".

Yea i saw that too. I went searching online for more info too. Btw, i think the title is "Atomic Medical Physicist" this title is legit. The two types of medical physicist that i know of is nuclear medical physicist and atomic medical physicist. This thing kinda sounds too good to be true. So many opinions out there that says its a scam of some sort. So im really skeptical about this. I didnt want to see information from the company cos i figured it could be biased.

I dug in deeper, not on google but on google scholar.. just to find out if the science is for real.

Anyone here good with medical stuffs? Cos i found research, studies and textbooks (not by ASEA i believe).

Abstract

We determined if drinking ASEA™, a redox-signaling molecule beverage, would improve cycling performance, counter inflammation, oxidative stress, and immune dysfunction, and alter the metabolite profile. Cyclists (n = 20) participated in a randomized, double blinded, placebo controlled, crossover study. Subjects completed two 75km time trials (TT) after 1 wk ingestion of 118 mL/d ASEA or placebo (PL). Subjects ingested 473 mL ASEA or PL during the TT. Blood samples were taken pre, post, 1h post-exercise (Ex). ASEA did not improve TT performance (p = .95). The Ex-induced pattern of change in inflammation, oxidative stress, and immunity did not differ (p>.05) between ASEA vs. PL. The metabolomic profiles (GC/MS) of ASEA and PL samples were clearly separated by partial least square discriminant analysis when using pre-Ex data (Q2Y = .71), and when using the ratio of 1h post-Ex to pre-Ex (Q2Y = .68). Linear modeling found that ASEA supplementation caused a significant shift in 43 metabolites pre-Ex, especially free fatty acids, suggesting an enhanced fat oxidation and amino acid sparing, with an increase in ascorbic acid, during Ex. Within the context of this study, 1-wk ASEA supplementation caused extensive fatty acid mobilization before and during Ex, with no apparent influence on TT performance and traditional biomarkers of inflammation, oxidative stress, and immunity.

I have tried Asea for my skin. I've taken it externally and internally with great results. Re: prostate cancer. A friend in Australia's neighbour battled for 6 years with Prostate cancer and he now is clear of it and all the issues that came with it, by taking 120mls x twice a day. I think people should only buy it from Asea's official site or through an associate because amazon and eBay purchases have been known to sell fake (salt-water or saline) where as Asea has the actual redox signaling molecules. There are plenty of testimonials from people using Asea for countless illness's and disease. I hope this helps. Oh and the trials done from a gentleman below, testing cycling performance... did they use actual Asea products from Asea? or did they use product bought off Amazon / eBay or somewhere else? Just be interesting to know?

I use Asea every day. It is some kind of salt water that has undergone some kind of proprietary processing. It costs a lot, but I think it is helping me in ways that no medication has. It can take several months to see any effects. I do not have prostate cancer. It can be bought from a person who sells it; not from any store. I signed up to get it from a past coworker.
