I just wanted to write a short post to inspire others out there to keep on fighting prostate cancer. My father passed away last week after 11 years battling the disease. His situation was unique because he was unable to continue with cancer treatments due to a torn aorta and aneurysm. Before that my dad tried everything from radium injections, chemo, radiation, xofigo. He did it all with a smile on his face. Dont lose hope and keep looking for new treatments. I believe my father fought so hard for me, his wife of 44 years and my siblings. Stay strong and keep fighting guys

Keep on fighting guys
Thanks for the inspiring but also sad message. It hurts us all when one of our own passes. Your father's attitude was inspiring.
He was lucky to have you, his wife of 44 years, and your siblings. I'm sorry for your loss.
A lovely photo. Hang onto those good memories. And thank you for sharing his inspiring legacy. Such a good daughter! 11 years was quite a run of living and loving despite his prostate cancer diagnosis. My condolences.

So very sad. Wishing you and yours well. Monte
Thank you all for your kind words. Today was especailly hard for me being fathers day. My dad was truly a soldier to the end. He fought in Vietnam and i watched as he fought prostate cancer to the end. Fighting up until his last breath. He made it 6 months on hospice. Part of the battle is your attitude and will to live. He was the best father a daughter could ask for. Thank you all for your support during this time.
Wow. Everyone should have the love your family had for your Dad🙏 What a wonderful
Man he was❤️ There are no words that can help the loss and hurt you feel if there was
I would send them all to you
Thank you. Yes theres alot of love. When he was in the hospice facility me,my four siblings,my mom, my dads brother, and 2 grandkids all spent day and night there for 3 days until he passed. The staff there said thats the most people theyve seen actually sleep there. They could tell how loved he is. Family is everything ❤❤
What a lucky man to be so surrounded by love. You gave him the best gift you could.
Sorry to hear about your father's passing because it affects everyone in this community. Sending you big ((HUGS)), sweetheart!
Love and light,
Ellie
