Cantabiline, Metformin, Berberine – Combine the three, go with one, or what?

I have seen an opinion that metformin and berberine should not be taken together. All three have some similar actions, so should one choose, or do the three together form a harmonious family, or is this unchartered territory?

Hey Nalakrats!

I try to keep the Metformin and berberine a few hours apart. If I wake up at the right time a take an AMPK by LE. I have more or less been doing that since 2016.

I always take all my supps before a vitamin C infusion. I believe in synergy.

I've read about all three and discussed with MO. I went off Metformin due to side affects. Not for me until Lupron and AT quit working.

I take a little daily nip of Berberin, IP6, Amla, grape seed, niacin, and milk thistle, all in powder form. Labs look pretty good, and BP was 104/66 at my Lupron shot today, damn thing hurt though.

I couldn’t get metformin, no doc will give to me since I am not diabetic so I am going to take berberine instead, can you tell me your protocol where to get it and what dosage you take please , with food or without? Thanks a lot.

Yes, I take a powdered Berberine form, link below, about 1/4 tsp mixed with some peanut butter, mid-morning, 1x/day. I took it twice a day during radiation, as it's supposed to sensitize PCa cells to it.
