"Certain nutrients and eating patterns may help prevent or manage the disease ....
Today, it's well understood that patients can do a lot to prevent and manage disease – and often, that starts with nutrition. “The focus has changed from, ‘Let’s treat this cancer’ to, ‘Let’s treat the cancer in the context of the person as a whole,’” says Lorelei Mucci, an associate professor of epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health."
I agree completely -- many of the cancer treatment drugs have an extremely negative impact on heart health -- weight gain -- bones etc. and eating right will surely offset some of it. But more importantly -- good nutrition and supplements can also help fight the cancer in and of themselves.
This list what we want to talk about. You seem to have a good handle on both sides of the fence. We went very alternative for a few years. Now working with Dr Tagawa, Weill Cornell. Our friend Roger Derrough, who we turned on to this website, was the one who let us know you live in Fletcher. We don’t want anything from you but some support from a brother, so to speak. If you’re not up for it it’s OK.
