Thank you for posting... solid potential of another weapon to the arsenal... This is what AIDS patients have... an arsenal... Will combining these result in prolonged remissions... and what role will NT-219 play in this cocktail...????
All the best,
Fish
Fish,
Indeed, I remember my dad's oncologist 4 years ago (Dr. Myers) saying the same thing when we first met him: prolonging survival will most likely happen through combination therapies, attacking the cancer cells with different modalities, to kill enough of the bad cells quickly enough to induce a long remission. Let's hope they figure out another combo, beyond Zytiga+Lupton, or Chemo+Lupton, I'm sure it'll happen, just not sure when

Arthur,
The fact that we have seen Checkmate 650 trial with Opdivo and Yervoy... a current trial with abiraterone, prednisone, Lupron, radiation, and apalutamide makes me feel they are on the right track...vaccine trials....one with a vaccine and Keytruda..... I was placed on zytiga and Lupron within 10 days of my positive Axumin scan and had stereotactic radiation 6 weeks later to the one met lesion that was found... Ongoing trials with stereotactic radiation for oligometastatic disease continues...
There's hope , my friend... As Andy said to Red In Shawshank Redemption..."Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."
It's coming, but just not as fast as we'd like... Sadly, warriors fall , but the war continues...
