After a year of test, worrying about my Pca, job and dissability status. Im taking a vacation. Not a vacation from ADT but a vacation myself and worry. Im in forida for the next 3 months and spending time with my granddaughter and daughter. Ill take care of my pca when i get home.

Enjoy Florida during our "good times"...it beautiful Jan/Feb/Mar ~~the rest of the year I hate it...but tolerate it! too hot...can't tell whether I'm having a hot flash OR it's just 100 degrees.

Used to go to Fla (Naples) a couple times a year FREE when Brother in Law lived there. Late Nov early Dec! Loved it!!! SoB moved back to NE! He missed the snow.......the big jerk!!!!! Would love to resume that now. Winter is just adding insult to injury to treatment.

I vote for vacation. Live in Central Valley of California. Gets to 109+ in summer. But it's a dry heat. You wonder if its the heat or the chemo making your toes shrivel. Constantly asking people "Is it hot in here, or is it just me." Taking clothes off and putting them back on 5 minutes later. Gabapentin took out maybe 90% of hot flashes. May not be everyone's cup of hemlock. Lived in the inland of Florida briefly for 2 times. Only 90 degrees and fearful of drowning in own sweat. Maybe Miami's better. Never got there. Enjoy.
When you live in Florida you know how a pizza in the oven feels (with all the toppings)...
