My wife's grandfather was a doctor who worked past the age of 90 and, if I remember correctly, died at age 93. I was over at his house one day while he was having his daily relaxation before dinner - a double martini and a cigar. He told me that he never exercised but he had his cigar and double martini every day for many years.

Go figure.

Alan

Nothing to figure.

Absolutely the right thing for a reasonable man (a doctor, in this case) to do after a hard, stressful day at the office. A double martini and a cigar. Followed by a good dinner of lobster and filet mignon, medium rare, french fries with pepper sauce and a decent helping of creme brulee to round it off.

No exercise except for some sex (if he is up to it and she doesn't have a headache).

Cheers and enjoy life :-) You only live once :-)

Strong bloodline...

Interesting but for the most part irrelevant. Clickbait?

Buffet was diagnosed with PCa some years back. News reports said had submitted to RT. As I recall he was 82 at time of diagnoses.

There are rumors that 80 percent of men at 80 years of age are found to have PCa upon autopsy at death.

Nothing earth shattering that he too was diagnosed.

I agree..

you're making me hungry...LOL...and we just got back from a sumptuous late lunch at a Lebanese restaurant. I love food!

Life is Beautiful!

Charlie Munger is 95 (dob 01/01/1924) and Warren Buffett is 88 (dob 08/30/1930).

You have people who die young in spite of healthy living and people who live into their hundreds in spite of every bad habit you can think of. No big mystery here - it's called good genes. The best thing you can do for your health is to pick the right parents. That's quite well known.

Th “Oracle” also owns di vita dialysis nationwide..

I better get rid of these Walmart knock offs and get a good pair of Levi's. After clicking on that link my only thought was that I don't have a cow's chance in a Buffett/Munger cattle lot. And at the bottom there was a link to a Daniel's Diet. Not going there. Probably had something to do with gater blood or blood sucking leeches.
