The Buffett Diet and PCa
I think it is Gregg57 who most respectfully pointed out the importance of keeping this domain of our Support Group for scientific, research based and sensible information which can enhance our education on the subject of prostate cancer and its decease management. It was applauded by almost all in our community. What are you trying to do again by throwing this bullshit? If you have a zest to read this kind of thing in the internet, please do it privately. There is no restriction on your freedom. We have values!

Cure? When a 81 year old man prefers to treat his stage 1 PCa with radiation, rather than opting for active surveillance ...
Evidently, WB prefers not to spend his money on healthy food or competant doctors.

Patrick,
WB is now 87 and claims he is in good health. Still working full time....who is to say what is a good diet...like WB says how many vegetarians can claim to be in better shape than him. A lot of guys on this board followed so called "good diets" and have stage 4 crMPCa while WB had Stage 1 cured with just radiation

WB , we call him Uncle Warren since he bought the company I work for. He makes lots of money and gives a lot of it away, but not to his employees. Right now he is working very hard to cut our health care and shift all of the costs to the employees.
Nal,
I would like to know your diet..the hell with upsetting vegans
In fact lets all post our diets

I've been very strict about staying away from fizzy sugar water. My wife and I had fast food the other day. Had my first big Pepsi drink in ages. It was a delicious indulgence that I shall not repeat soon. I am back on bread and water.
According to MD Anderson:
research shows that eating sugar doesn’t necessarily lead to cancer. It’s what sugar does to your waistline that can lead to cancer.

One of the leading docs at MDA's clinical trial dept. recently told my dad "dieting and taking supplements are to keep you from getting cancer, once you have it you better eat well or the cancer will eat you."
My dad ironically has really taken both approaches from diagnosis including following a Mediterranean diet with no red meats combined with an aggressive traditional treatment protocol, neither one has done him much good so far in regard to keeping his cancer at bay.
It's true we need to stick to clear science on these forums including the fact that chemotherapy and secondary hormonal treatment drugs such as Keytruda are only proven to extend a patient's life or stop disease progression by a matter of months, versus no treatment according to the medicine's label based on the mean average of clinical trial results. The patients who are the "lucky ones" that post regularly to this forum where the treatment has lasted for several years are the exception.
