check with your MO's office they can point you into the right direction. Never feel as though you cant ask them questions in regards to help with paying for the drugs!!!!

Thank you redbank.

My father doesn't live in the US. I brought him here last month to see a doctor who prescribed Xtandi. My father can't get financial relief for Xtandi as he's not a US resident.

Thank you so much for your information. My father's PSA is 580 from 460 couple weeks ago. He has a lot of pain these days.

I'm scared. It's heart breaking to see if my father in so much pain while I cannot do anything.

Thanks again for your reply. Best wishes to you.

Johnson and Johnson Patient Assistance Fund is very supportive if you meet certain income tests. You can Google them for contact information.

Thank you, Dhenzkie.

Do you know if the Xtandi manufactured in India is as effective as the one in the US?

i had it but dropped out after a short time. it didn't seem to reduce my psa as fast as i wanted. my insurance covered the cost same as Zytiga and the last expensive one PROVENGE

You may want to look outside the US. This is definitely not the most cost effective place f o r drugs.

If you go to the xtandi website there is a phone number for patient assistance, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how much they help out.

Thanks Ed.

I look at their website and see that they ask for income/SSN. My father doesn't live in the US and is not a US resident, so he won't be able to provide such information.

Still might be worth a call, you never know.

Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy had a program that paid for my husband’s Xtandi. Don’t know if it works for a non citizen but worth a try. I have 2 phone #s for them but don’t remember which one is best to use. 810-768-9063 Or 877-977-9118

I know how very difficult it is watching a loved one suffer and feeling so helpless to ease their pain. Hope you Dad gets some relief soon!! Prayers for comfort and strength for both of you.

I just started Xtandi, and the drug company is just writing off the amount left after my insurance pays (about $4000 per mo). I am told the manufacturer of Xtandi is very compassionate for a drug company, and if you can show a real need, they will provide the medication at no cost.

Thank you, joeguy. I contacted Pfizer last week. I will try to contact them again.
