Those are the actual words from the PA after my second PSA in 45 days. Lupron plus prednisone and ZYTIGA. 8.3, .69, .45 diagnosed July 3, Gleason 4+5, 5 +5 . One met in shoulder.

Feeling very blessed !!

that's great. Keep it up. Looks like you are OligoMetastastatic. I suggest you look up "multimodal" therapy in this forum and on the internet if you have not done so already.

Awesome, I've been on Casodex and Lupron (6 month shot) since Sept 10, 2018 - Age 58, PSA 1000+, GS 8, with significant metastasis pelvic area . Will start Zytiga/Prednisone on Oct 15, 2018 and first infusion the following day.

Had weak urine stream and burning pain sensation - first few weeks of Casodex improved these symptoms.

This seems like the standard PCa "All Weapons on deck Attack", strategy...

There's been discussions, that Casodex could (should?) be stopped after a month of daily dose.

Ask about Zytiga. It's not a wonder drug but has worked wonders for me.

8 months and holding PSA at 0.1 after first month of treatment, also six month ELIGARD shots. Leo
