Has anyone here experienced cryoablation as a treatment for a metastasis ?

MontyB,

I had cryosurgery for local advanced prostate cancer in 2008 by Dr. Scionti.

The only source I can recall for any oncologist treating metastasis was Dr. Israel Barkin in SFCA area.

Hello PeteG,

Thank you much for your reply! I'm in an ongoing discussion with my MO about it and will probably have cryoablation for a met on one of my adrenal glands in the near future. From what I've read and heard...it seems to be a safe and effective procedure...most of the time. Did you experience any problems or issues with it ?
