Results from PSMA-F18 scan to identify mets after SBRT radiotherapy (aug 2017) and increasing PSA values

Good afternoon just a post to inform on the results of the PSMA-F18 scan. The results show that the initial identified met (scan previous year: aug 2017) on his right pelvis bone is still the only which lights up under the PSMA-F18 scan from last week. It turned out that the sbrt radiotherapy applied was targeted at a too small area. Edges of the radioactive field are active again. Incredible pissed with the result. The replacement oncologist (other one on holiday) just followed my idea to start the hormone therapy again. (eligard with cyproterone) Any other options like go to Utrecht the Netherlands for PSMA Lu177 treatment need to be discussed with his regular oncologist. Hope this turns out for the best otherwise I will go to Germany (5 hours drive) to Heidelberg for the thteatment

That's not good. I would be upset too. Is that the first scan he's had since the radiation? Any regular PET scans in the interim? Can it be zapped again or otherwise treated directly without doing Lu-177 or some systemic option?

I always wondered what was the downside to using the more precise SBRT Cyberknife radiation treatment. I guess this is it. Targetting that may be too conservative.

What exactly was the SBRT targetting? Metastasis in the bones? How many?

What were the prior treatments?
