Lots of folks are trying that. It didn't seem to do anything for my PSA, although with other changes it is hard to tell.

It definitely helps with sleep. Most people find that it helps with pain and anxiety.

Even if it doesn't alter PSA that doesn't mean it isn't helping. Immunotherapy doesn't lower PSA but seems to delay progression. PSA is a proxy - it is NOT cancer.

Try it and see what it does for you. Aside from the costs and any legal risks in your area, the chances of it harming you are extremely low. Don't drive while intoxicated - no matter which drug.

spot on

Exactly. No evidence that MMJ will attack cancer, but as FCoffey says, and I will testify to, it helps with insomnia, pain, and stress. I do recommend it.

I used cannabis oil while waiting to change my protocol from prostate surgery to radiation, I could actually feel the tumor when I would lay on my side so I had to use a pillow between my legs, I started doing the cannabis a week later I could sleep on my side , so it must have been shrinking, I couldn't afford to stay on it, so I am using apricot seeds,

I've used cannabis oil for pain management]. It's works well for dull pain in the lower back. Not that good for sharp pain. One needs to get the dosage right (5 drops for me) or you get high (7 drops is excessive). I have never thought of it as a remedy to slow or stop the progression of the cancer. There are obviously heaps of claims on the internet. I seem to have read most of them but cannot find a consensus of views. My oncologist's view is that "if it works for you, do it. But just tell me what you're doing (so that it doesn't interfere with anything else)".

I tried it for 4-5 months and was awful high but it only lowered my PSA by 2 from 11 to 9. 1 ml /day Not worth it for me. Maybe CBD would be better as no high. I enjoy being straight.

I’m a proponent of my right to choose to help myself in any way or form that I choose. Freedom of choice freedom of speech and the persuit of happiness. I don’t believe that we should have to,buy anything from a heavily taxed dispensary system that feeds the owners and the governments bank accounts. Grow your own make your own oil.. if yo7 choose. I for one like the high. Why do people use pot ? They like the feeling. If you don’t, you don’t use it. I never was a Pot head , I didn’t want to take the time and slow down . Now it’s a pleasure for me . Helps me enjoy eating , music , comedy, makes me laugh and takes my mind off of APC and all that that entails. I don’t have to tell anyone one here that APC can be drudgery and an emotional and physical rollercoaster. Like a wise man said. Just because I use it doesn’t mean that I recommend it for anyone that does not have interest. For those interested what do you have to lose ? Boredom, munching out to much laughing dancing . Sounds terrible. For me I’ve used in hopes to fight cancer. But the phycological relief and enjoyment of simple things while using MM far outweigh any ones opinions that it’s bad. I’m going to enjoy this golden age . I plan to stay a daily user for life... Each to their own Peace to all 🍀

Spot on dude.....i too think it is a wonderful drug and a great help to me on my cancer run.....as i always say....each to their own. If you find it helps,go for it ...

A personal choice that we both agree upon. I’m not good without the oil. I’ve been on it everyday for 3years. My wife won’t let me go without.. So now I listen to reggae Enjoy time alone and with others.. I’m looking for peace during my journey with APC. I m personally opposed to big pharma’s anti anxiety solutions for myself. Take it easy brother.. scott

My hubby uses FECO daily and smokes occasionally. He tries to use strains that have a higher CBD content, which is not always easy to find. He states it helps with pain, nausea and anxiety, increases his appetite and in general improves the quality of his life.

I believe the highest THC is what’s needed plus cbd.

I use the cbd oil daily. Does nothing for the cancer but helps with sleep. The night of a chemo treatment it’s difficult to fall asleep so I took a dose of the oil with the thc. Knocked me out but felt like crap the next day.

Thank you all for replying to my post. I have a daughter with Brain Cancer and my fiance has Prostate Cancer. My daughter has been using marijuana for a seveal years for pain management and was on NBC news several years ago speaking about her use - when NOBODY spoke about it. After her second surgery, and religiously using CO - she’s had no growth - which is amazing. She was given a 3 - 5 year life expectancy by doctors at Sloan Kettering - and it is 11 years now!! . We strongly support cannabis for pain management, for the calming effect it brings for anxiety, and all of the other things mentioned below.

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and I hope my fiance, after reading your posts, will consider taking cannabis oil - because while it may not shrink the tumor, NO GROWTH is what the aim.should be.

I have not used the oil for stopping progression, but a daily MMJ user that gets significant pain relief, inflammation relief, sleeping, depression, and appetite stimulation. It works for all of those - and if it also helps stop progression that would be amazing, but the benefits I derive are worth the investment into my well being - bringing me relief that either I would not get from pharma drugs or would not get at all.

I think what people get from pharmacy drugs is opioid addiction - and you don’t get that from cannabis.

Agreed, unfortunately I cannot deal with the pain just using MMJ. The MO has me on 15MG Extended release morphine - which I hate to use but cannot deal with my extensive bone mets pain without it. I have tried, repeatedly, to not use the morphine at all but it is fruitless. It is just a fact of my disease, and it is something I will have to deal with for the rest of my days, unfortunately.

I understand your situation - and whatever gives you relief is what you need to do. My thoughts are with you,🙏

in reply toontheroad589

I’m very sorry that you’re suffering so gravely. God give you relief , please?

I am the same.

True, don’t start munching on junk. Eat a lot but only healthy

Sometime you just want to eat what makes you happy - and I think that is just fine, too. I believe there is a point when it’s fine to do whatever makes you feel like smiling - and if it’s food that you love - go for it!!!

I had surgery 9.5 years ago, staged T3b. I did not have additional treatment. I have been consuming as much cannabis oil that I can and still function since then. Recent PSA <.006.

I am using cannabis oil and CBD, along with b17, I was just eating the apricot seeds but I found out its only good for prevention, my psa after the radiation and lupron,&casodex it went down to .1 but my 3rd psa went up to .2 but I refused to get the hormonal treatment because I was too sensitive to it , and I read the side effects that Lupron 6 month shot can create blood clots, I did get a surface blood clot on my calf on my left leg ,so if you are getting lupron therapy , it is safer to get the 3 month because the 6 month shot is 49% of getting a blood clot and 3 month or 1 month shot can reduce it to less then 10%.. I wish I would have known but I can't go back but at least I can talk about and hopefully anybody reading this will get the information,

I started cannabis oil and CBD along with (b17 capusules at 500 mil grams) and my psa dropped back down to .1, I was taking 2000 mil grams a day but please do some research on B17, I did. I saw a video where a lady was doing 1000 mil grams a day and her cancer tumors were gone. B17 is very controversial so watch videos on youtube and testimonials, there is a holistic doctor who talks about it , copy this and listen to what he says about it. (How Laetrile (B-17 or Amygdalin) effectively destroys cancer cells). also watch a video on Dennis Hill who claims he did cannabis oil and was cured of prostate cancer. I do believe that doing both western medicine and holistic medicine is the best out come for remission and possible cure. oh yea I did change my diet too, to a lot of veggies and clean meat , like no hormones or GMOs, veggies I try to get organic too. I also meditate for a positive out look. Now to say my psa went down because of my regime of all the holistic regimes I am doing , I can't say for sure or maybe my psa was just fluctuating, I don't really know but I will keep all my regimes going because I do believe in what I am doing. I pray to Jesus too and thank him for my remission and to be alive another day.

God Bless

Robert
