Got another nice day today weather wise. Have been having some cold sweats but not feeling ill, does this ever happen to anybody else? Not sure if it's from medications or not . Thanks.

I get hot flashes and sweats like crazy. I have brought back the old fashion idea of carrying a "hanky". I tell tell the Doc it's a small price to pay as long as the meds are working.

It’s most likely the meds. I started getting hot flashes and cold sweats back when I started on Lupron and bicalutamide 3 years ago. I would get nothing got sweat that would leave my tee shirt soaked. Over time they have subsided in frequency and intensity. Hopefully, they will for you, too. They are annoying, but tolerable, especially, like you, I don’t feel ill. My wife just tells me, referring to the hot flashes, “now you know what I go through.” 😎. Hang in there!

I figured as much but with the low white blood cell counts I wanted to make sure I wasn't alone in this.(not that I want any of us to experience it)Getting Lunesta shots for the low counts hurts the bones like a dickens for at least 5 days.

It all depends on the individual. I'm on Lupron and casodex and I never had hot flashes or cold sweats. I guess I'm just lucky or maybe because I love to laugh. Laughter is a mini-vacation.

Good Luck and Good Health.

I will try.... Here's one.... ready?

What's the worse thing you can hear from your urologist when you ask "Doc where should I hang my trousers?" and the doctor replies "Next to mine"....

Good Luck and Good Health.
