I had a radical prostatectamy back in 2000. my PSA was 39.5. Been fine after post op nightmare. Psa was 0.20 till last year. No blood test last year no Urologist in my town.Been getting lower back pain & pain behind my pubic bone. Going to my GP tomorrow. A little worried.
Looking over my shoulder!!: I had a... - Advanced Prostate...
Looking over my shoulder!!
Odds are the Bad Boy is back because it was never gone with a PSA of .2.....but with .2 after 18 years you got a real slow growing cancer
If you act quickly ? You can jump on top of whatever is causing the pain . If PC ? No time to waste . Sorry this is going on for you right now.I pray that you can take care of this , whatever it is. Just not knowing is very stressful .. after reading these pages for a year now,it is more common than not .A reoccurance can pop-up out of the air at anytime for any one of us. You had some great 17 yrs of good life hopefully. Im 3yrs in and lucky to be alive.. Get back to us once you know more.. good luck.
Incredible to be 18 years out after a PSA of 39.5! See an MO right away, though!
My thoughts exactly .
I'm looking after this as best I can. I will see my GP tomorrow or at the latest Friday for my results. He will refer me to our local Urologist. If I have to wait more than a week I will call SunnyBrook Hospital that has cared for me 400 miles away.
Good luck with the appointment, Kenner. Fingers crossed.
Went for my PSA test today. Takes 2 days to get results here. Thank you for your concern!!
Good luck to you dude....gods speed and blessings, go well.....
This feeling behind my pubic bone is exactly the same as I had when I was diagnosed 18 years ago. I will deal with this. The only thing I am hoping for is that I am rejecting my artificial urinary sphincter when it happened 10 years ago. JUST HOPING Right?I'll know more with my PSA test results tomorrow. Thank you for caring.
Good man....keek on rockin and let us know how you get on with your tests...
Get to an oncologist who's specialty is PCa (even if you have to travel).
Good Luck and Good Health.

Psa is 0.21...I finally got to see a urologist in my home town. I'm 19 years out since my RP. He says I have nothing to worry about. That's good for me! I'm a very lucky man.
