Actually, I'm trying to reach out to Dr. Who, he calls himself, his name is Walt. He was one of the first to respond to me on this site. I have not heard from him and I'm concerned and worried. Wondering how I would go about finding him. Maybe he quit the site???

I'm praying that Dr. Who is o.k., it's not like him not to keep in touch.He had such a wnderful way with words. always gave much hope and positive comments. He was the first one to answer my post when I first joined. I felt so lost and scared. I don't know what I would have done with out him. Still missing missing nameless9999 Jim, was the second one that came to my rescue. also gave such support and I loved his wit!!! Well, I hope and pray we hear from Dr. Who that he's o.k.

Hi, Like you just heard from paulofaus also,...the last time I heard from Dr.Who was maybe around the time my husband was out of the hospital after his past surgery. That was around a month ago. Like I said I accidently deletied all my messages and the few posts I saved from Dr Who. He has such a beautiful way with words.. ....

So sorry. Remember this, none of us have an expiration date. There are a lot, let me repeat, a lot of people still here long after the doctors told them otherwise. What you need is a new medical team- NOW!
Have you considered going to the Mayo Clinic or to MD Anderson? Also, Dr. Hussain, a world prostate expert that used to be at the University of Michigan is now at Northwestern. I am sure that others here have recommendations. Please consider them!
Please get a second or third option. Hopefully there are people here smarter than me who can give you advice.
While I can not give you medical advice (I am a retired grumpy chemist), you have my full support. Everyone here will be pulling and praying for you. Please let us know how you are doing and what your new medical team thinks. We want to know how you are doing!! You are part of our family and we take care of our own. After all, people like us we have to stick together!

Dr. Who's Post from this morning...
Dear fellow warriors,
As a result of some very bad interactions with the hospital recently I have not posted for a while. First, please know that overall I am doing great and that the cancer is on the run.
However, while dealing with another medical issue (nothing to do with cancer, and really not that major of thing) I had the most negative series of interactions with the hospital and the medical staff. It hurt me a lot worce than that 10pm call saying I had advanced cancer. To say that my head was (is) not on straight is an understatement.
I am taking actions to help re-educate some health care professionals and change how the hospital deals with certain issues. The good news are that they are making changes. I am also going to counseling. While I am slowly getting back to where I need to be, I am not there yet. Until I get there I will have to take a vacation from this sight. Also, please know I really do not want to discussion what the issue is anymore than I alwadt have.
Please know that this vacation is not the result of anyone here. In fact this sight give me strength. I am in awe of the warriors here! But until I get things straightened out I will have to take some time off. Hopefully soon I will be back full time.

I'm so,happy I joined this site, so many wonderful people who all really care and know what each other is going through. I don't know why when I joined the forum I used ronnoe1943. That is my sons name.my name is Lynn, my husband name is Sam. He was first Dx with stage four PC when he was 65, he is now 74 years young. just had a biopsy on a LN and had mutations for targeted therapy.
