Replacing what one is deficient in is different from saturation. Our bodies need the right level of vitamins and other micronutrients to function properly. Too high or too low in any of them can be a problem.

I take 1,000 mcg of B-12 which is 16,000 times the DMR. My body clears the excess B-12---how do I know---because I take 3 Blood tests a year--which B-12 is one of many in a full panel---and my results are always right in the middle of the reporting range. My Pca did not come from B-12 it came from 2 Familial Mutations BRCA-2 and PTEN---passed down to both me and my brother from our mother who got it from her father---that is as far as we can go back.

Nalakrats, can you explain what you mean by ‘your PCa didn’t come from B12? I understood the second part that it came from a genetic mutation. Is there a link of B12 to PCa? Thanks

There are many papers at PUBMED, on BRCA-2, and BRCA-1 and Pca--even Google will give you plenty to read on.
