Gary, I just joined this group and read your most recent post. Glad your PSA is at the current level. I’ve been fighting this beast since 2006, and seemed strange that with my PSA going up and down I still feel normal physically. So with God’s blessing and comfort, enjoy life, family and do your bucket lists while you are still able.

Hey Gary,

Because I've known you for a couple of years now it's kind of weird to see your 'intro' post.

Like many of us here, you've had some punishing treatments, but you've done extremely well. Managing to keep your PSA so low for so long, you're definitely doing something right.

I hope it continues.

Cheers

Paul.

Glad to hear that your PSA level is going down. My dad is similar to your case, I am praying hard for him, hes on a day 2 after Lucrin!

Hi,

PSA has crept up to 0.09 but med onc says it is still low. It has worked well for me. The usual side effects such as hot flashes and weight gain but quality of life is good, so definitely worth it.

Regards,

Gary

I need to learn and find out more about coping with hot flashes!

I am on an anti depressant called Efexor (Venlafaxine) and an anti androgen called Androcur (Cyproterone Acetate), which are supposed to help with the flashes
