I didn't see anyone post this, so I thought I'd share:

Ipilimumab with radiation may slow late-stage cancer tumor growth

"The combination of ipilimumab and stereotactic body radiotherapy delivered sequentially demonstrated promising response rates and survival in patients with solid tumors and metastatic lung or liver lesions, according to prospective phase 2 study results presented at the American Society for Radiation Oncology Annual Meeting."

".....Additionally, this study provides fascinating data suggesting that there may be a difference in the immunological response of a metastasis in the lung vs. the liver......"

FYI, there is also a Clinical Trial that is trying "Ipi" (aka Yervoy) following Provenge in the context of prostate cancer.

And, unfortunately, a completed Trial that used "Ipi" vs. placebo in advanced prostate cancer, but did not show an Overall Survival benefit, while causing serious adverse events, and even deaths during the study.
