Has any one taken anything other than chemo, radiation, Zytiga and CXtandi for bone cancer?

Raduim-223 (Xofigo) is also an approved treatment for CRPC specifically for bone metastasis.

Sorry, can't help you out as I am a very aggressive chemo as soon as mets guys. Best of luck with what treatment plan you undertake.

Hi Dan,

Thks. for your info. I have bone and bone marrow cancer...no pain, my PSA went from 775 to 8 in 5 months on Zytiga and Prednisone. This is now working at this time for me.

Hi Sidn,That is an amazing result with zytiga , Congratulations, others have said that. Rad 233 is indicated if there is bone pain and mostly bone mets and not soft tissue mets, I believe it can only be taken once, which is why I turned it down when offered as I had no pain. Save it for Pain from bone.The zytiga could very well shrink any bone mets you have. I hope you get a lot of time on zytiga.

Here is where I am now at: After 6 mths. Zytiga and predisone ..my PSA is slowly rising. Dr. ordered 2 scans to help formulate a new plan of attack on the cancer. I told him ab't. you guys and how knowledgeable you all are. He listened carefully and was glad to hear of this and glad that my wife and I have learned so much more about all this than before..that is where another med is given with my Zytiga which has been so helpful for the past 6 mths. They are going to think it thru and see,
