It's between the two: .10<.13<.20. Good luck!

The reading is low, but sometimes it's not the absolute reading that is important, it's the trend. You don't say, but I assume that you had RP and maybe are on ADT? Under those conditions, a rising PSA would suggest cancer growth, but still a low volume of cancer at your PSA number. So low that there are no scans which can help you find where the cancer is. As you will read on this board, there are many many men who are at various stages of treatment with PSA counts in the hundreds, even thousands. So, if you ask them, they would definitely agree that your counts are low. But it would be typical that salvage radiation would be considered if your PSA is rising.

Starting SRT asap is proven to have better results than waiting so get going! 😰

If it's any reassurance, it's closer to 0.1 than 0.2.

But as others have said, it's the trend that's important, not the absolute number.

I initiated salvation radiation at 0.182 due to my PSA rising from 0.1 to 0.182 in 6 months. 6 months after my SRT my PSA is now undetectable again.

I would not get SRT until I had plugged my data into MSK's SRT nomogram to determine its odds of benefit for YOU. You'll find it at

mskcc.org/nomograms/prostat... .
