used car shopping nightmare

I am so overwhelmed. My car was written off from an accident and I am pressured to find a replacement. I am on a low budget but is trying to find something that will at least last for a few years. Low kms, good deal, low fuel economy, getting something that my daughter can learn to drive in, so not too big, but not too small, etc etc. looking at all these variables, I have pages and pages of notes, and comparisons, and possibilities. Decisions decisions.

I’ve gone to a few used car lots, and nothing. I’ve driven ti a couple that I was too scared to go in. I’m borrowing my brother’s car now but it’s very old and falling apart and I’m scared to drive it.

The stress is high, and all the variables hurting my head, and keeping me up at night. Whoever said money can’t buy happiness obviously never had to shop for a used vehicle on a budget!
