I'm looking for ways to help me cope when things get a bit to much when i was a child i would use a dummy but that's probably not practical as an adult any ideas what i could try thanks

talking to yourself in the mirror? Also, if talking to something helps, keep doing it. Maybe make a visual part of your body a dummy, so to speak. Some people tattoo or draw things on their hands and do things that way.
